Internship:

Submit Resume in Janurary -March. Interviews are in February and April. Practicum requires a commitment to FPR from August until May. Orientation begins in August.
A typical week for interns includes: skills services, shadowing outpatient individual, couple and family counseling appointments, involvement in various support and skills groups, paperwork and auditing, office assistance, scheduling and supervision with a collaborative therapy team.
Other opportunities include case consultations, Family Group Decision Making and Case Planning Conferences, working in area schools and much more! Expect the prime hours for children, family and couples counseling to be 2:30-7:30pm. Plan on a minimum 25 hours per week time committment.
This internship allows you the opportunity for many hours depending upon your availability. You get out of the internship what you put into it.
